  5. Keep rotating the distortion ring until the area which is near to the edges of the image is also focused.
  6. If the lens projection axis area becomes out of focus, then verify the device if the problem is resolved or not.

Solution 5: Check if the Projector Lamp is Burnt out

The problem can appear when the projector light is burnt out. If this is your problem, then you should replace the projector lamp. The following steps will help you to replace it.

  1. At first, you need to turn off the TV or the projector. Unplug the power cable from the projector and also from the TV.
  2. Open the lamp compartment door of the projector.
  3. Then, remove all the lamp assembly and pull out the lamp.
  4. Now, reinsert the lamp assembly and reinsert all the power cables.
  5. Replace the projector lamp compartment door. After that, reset the lamp timer.

  • At first, turn on the Epson projector.
  • Hold the Menu button.
  • Choose the Reset menu option and hit the Enter button.
  • Click on the Reset Lamp Hours option and press the Enter button.
  • After that, a pop-up will appear on the screen asking if you want to reset the lamp timing.
  • Choose the Yes option and hit the Enter key from the keyboard.
