In the USA alone, there are numerous top-line internet service providers. In a country of 331,002,651 people, about 95% of the population uses the internet. These statistics are for America alone, which is the 3rd country with the highest amount of internet users in 2021. This also with a growth of about 328% since 2000. There are many internet providers but only a few are in high demand, including:

With the serious stuff out of the way, the most interesting telltales are the benefits and disadvantages of the internet is available to all. The internet has made worldly matters more like boundary-less operations. However, “what are the consequences of such a platform”? One does ponder over it, from time to time with the continuous failures that occur. There are numerous examples; one such would be the constant lags on the internet and calling during busy hours. With the world population on the rise, will it ever get better or turn around for the worse. This question disturbs me the most. This case is especially for people in high internet traffic areas, where connections get lost and lags are common in a day. Internet traffic is growing by 22% per year, which is a lot. There is rising demand for good bandwidth connections and providers try their best to supply them to their esteemed customers.

Internet Crowding – An Uproar
In the year 2019, thousands of fans waited for the ever-famous show “Game of Thrones” and went online to stream it on HBO. Unfortunately, while many got to watch it at the time it aired, some couldn’t. The failure occurred due to sudden traffic at the same time by multiple people trying to stream in, which led to people staring at the blank screen and internal screaming sessions.
HBO apologized following the incident and assured that it would try to improve its services, so the issue does not happen again. However, with daily traffic on the rise, will it never occur again?
Moreover, this was one example of an urgent problem with angry, frustrated customers breathing down on HBO’s neck. What of the other larger companies, all relying on the internet for major transactions and dealings, daily work, and millions of customers relying on them.
The Awaited Future
This digital traffic threatens the survival of the information systems and technology revolution. Some constraints are felt in this and companies know this too. They get that people are far from ready for an overall change and promised future of top-notch technology.
The advancements in high definition video, autonomous vehicles, telepresence, remote surgery, and interactive 3D virtual reality for gaming, building prototypes, designing and working of real-time situations through it.
The advancements are already underway, with high-time investment into the technology and Information systems. The high-speed cables are a top-line improvement in this new venture. Google has made a partnership with 5 Asian telecommunication companies to get this game on, while others like Microsoft and Facebook are following suit with their ventures.
The 5th Gen & Beyond
The fifth-generation software and technology need to go about, with ever-increasing mobile traffic at 53% per year and the need for high-speed internet at all times. However, all good things take time. To meet the demand after the 4th gen onslaught, the 5th gen is on its way. The deployment of the wireless providers started in 2020, as per industry experts, and was 100 times faster (a billion bits per second type of speed) than usual. In the wake of this change, many companies and business models will face a major shift. The “Internet of Things” will become a bigger deal and this all will need more power, investments, and change at all levels. Safe to say, you all can’t wait for it, can you?
